Again, I loved the game and had it ended the way i think it should have, it would've been my favourite game ever, but the ending was so anticlimactic that I just can't get over it. I came here to know your opinions on what if.The ending would follow the same theme as its introduction, only these choices are the ones you were making throughout the game. But all that does is show the helicopter land and fly away, cut to black. I just have a feeling like they intended for it to be a mystery story and then realised that they don't have the money to finish it as intended, or they were on a deadline and had to wrap things up, which just made the entire experience dissatisfying. The only secret ending i know of that i learned last night is to not get on the helicopter. When you make things in your story up as you go along and change things at the final minute, it always shows (for example: Itachi being the good guy in Naruto was not the original plan, neither was the ending of I Am Legend). They built it up so phenomenally and the actual ending is so rushed and leaves so many plot holes and dead ends that it couldn't have been the original idea. And yes, I realise that the excuse for the ending is "It's a simple story about regular people avoiding their responsibilities", but honestly it just sounds like a cop-out. Its an ending that leaves more questions than it answers, and it feels shallow and disappointing. It was an incredibly built-up mystery story and I had this crazy idea of there being multiple actors and couldn't figure out how the pieces all fit together. The game was incredible up until the final day.
